Adrenal Insufficiency, Adrenal FatigueSyndrome, is an endocrine-or hormonal-disorder when overworked, damaged or depleted Adrenal Glands do not produce adequate amounts of steroid hormone, primarily cortisol, but may also include impaired production of Aldosterone..Adrenal insufficiency can be difficult to diagnose in its early stages as the symptoms progress gradually. The symptoms are worsening fatigue and muscle weakness, loss of appetite, weight loss, low blood pressure and in about half of cases nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea occur. Addison’s Disease is a syndrome specifically related to inadequate secretion of Corticosteroid Hormones.
