Hypochlorhydria is a deficiency of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Up to 30% of people aged 65 and over suffer from seriously diminished Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) production. Hydrochloric Acid, HCl, is a strong Mineral Acid produced by the Parietal Cells of the Stomach.  It comprises 0.2% – 0.5% of Gastric Juice. Hydrochloric Acid regulates the acidity of the Stomach optimize Digestion.  This occurs primarily through Hydrochloric Acid stimulating the conversion of Pepsinogen to Pepsin (a Proteolytic (Protein-digesting) Enzyme).

Functions and Uses of Hydrochloric Acid
– Hydrochloric Acid
regulates the acidity of the stomach to optimize Digestion
–  Hydrochloric Acid
stimulating the conversion of Pepsinogen to Pepsin (a Proteolytic (Protein-digesting) Enzyme)
May kill some forms of Bacteria – Detrimental  in the Stomach and Small Intestine
May suppress or kill Helicobacter Pylori (H-pylori)
– Food Allergies resulting from the insufficient endogenous production of Hydrochloric Acid
– Histidine absorption required Hydrochloric acid
– Beta-Carotene absorption required Hydrochloric acid
– Hydrochloric Acid facilitates the flow of Bile
– Calcium and Magnesium absorption required Hydrochloric acid
– Zinc absorption required Hydrochloric acid
– Vitamin C absorption required Hydrochloric acid

Substances may Increase the body’s Production of Hydrochloric Acid
– Amino acid
(Glycine and Lyscine)
– Iodine deficiency may cause Hypochlorhydria
– Vitamins (B1,  B3, B5, B6, and B12) stimulating the production of Hydrochloric Acid, also (Hypochlorhydria may inhibit the absorption of Folic Acid and B12)
– Caffeine may increase the body’s production of Hydrochloric Acid
– Tea may increase the body’s production of Hydrochloric Acid
– Wine may increase the body’s production of Hydrochloric Acid

Hypochlorhydria (low acid) may Cause these Ailments/Symptoms
– Gallstones
– Allergies
–  Hives
– Autoimmune Diseases
– Asthma
– Eczema
-Acne
– Dermatisis
– Seborrheic Dermatitis
– Vitiligo
– Hypothyroidism
– Hypoglycemia
– Fatigue
– Rheumatoid Arthritis
– Osteoporosis
– Indigestion
 Intestinal Parasites
– Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth Syndrome
(SIBO)
Intestinal Permeability
– Heartburn
– Burping
– Flatulence
May increase the risk of gastrointestinal infection from various types of Detrimental Microorganisms
– Salmonella species
– Eschericia coli
– Giardia lamblia
– Shigella species
– Hypochlorhydria
may increase the risk of Stomach Cancer
Excessive consumption of Alcohol (ethanol) may cause Hypochlorhydria

Helicobacter pylori (H. Pylori) https://drsokhandan.com/h-pylorie/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=h-pylorie Sun, 13 Sep 2020 06:23:59 +0000 http://drsokhandan.com/?p=2262 Helicobacter pylori (H. Pylori)

Helicobacter pylori ( H. pylori) is a  Detrimental Bacteria that resides in the Gastric Mucosa and the Mouth (usually in Dental Plaque).  It is the most common type of Bacteria that infects humans although it causes its toxic effects in only some persons. Helicobacter pylori is recognized as the most prevalent Bacteria to infect humans in the world.H. pylori infection is uncommon in young children. Breath test have a 95% sensitivity and 90% specificity. Other test (Stool, Blood, or Endoscopy / Biopsy).

Toxic Effects of Helicobacter pylori
May increase the risk of Ischemic Heart Disease
May increase the risk of abnormal Blood Clotting
– May increase the risk of Stroke
May increase the risk of Atherosclerosis
 May cause Hypochlorhydria
 May cause Heartburn
May cause Gastritis
–
May damages the Gastric Mucosa
– Helicobacter pylori
is a major cause of Gastric Ulcers
May be the underlying cause of the abdominal Pain associated with many cases of Indigestion
Major cause of Peptic Ulcers(except Jejunal Ulcers)
May increase the risk of Larynx Cancer,  Stomach Cancer
may cause Periodontal Disease.
– Helicobacter pylori
is suspected of causing Rosacea (eradication of Helicobacter pylori often results in a significant reduction in Rosacea symptoms)

Substances may Suppress or Eradicate Helicobacter pylori

– Betaine Hydrochloride may suppress or kill Helicobacter pylori
Amino acids may inhibit the growth of Helicobacter pylori (N-Acetyl-Cystine, Glutamine)
– Bile acids
may help to suppress Helicobacter pylori
Hormone (Melatonin) may facilitate the eradication of Helicobacter pylori
–
Microorganism’s may inhibit Helicobacter pylori (Bifidobacteria bifidus, bulgaricus, Lactis) and (Lactobacillus acidophilus, rhamnosus, reuteri)
– Polyphenols may inhibit Helicobacter pylori (Catechins, Quercetin, Curcumin)
– Vitamins ( B12, C)
– Grapefruits Seeds, Celery Seeds, Cumin Seeds  may kill Helicobacter pylori
– Garlic may suppress Helicobacter pylori
– Drugs (Idebenone) by inhibit the growth of Helicobacter pylori
